Strike Brewing Co. is based out of San Jose, CA and is among the oldest and longest lasting premier breweries in the Bay Area.

Our team loves brewing everything from hazy IPA and bourbon barrel aged stouts, to old-school lagers, fruited sours, and fresh seasonal seltzers. Our goal at Strike is to brew a fresh, delicious, ever-rotating selection of beers for the San Jose community and beyond!

Since our opening in 2014, we have won numerous awards at many of the world’s biggest beer competitions. Our Triple Play IPA is the reigning Gold medal winner at the US Open Beer Championship. As well as our delicious Big Wall Imperial Stout, which has won multiple gold medals at the World Beer Cup, GABF, and the US Open Beer Championship in the Foreign Export Stout category.

Meet the Team

Ryan Bridge

Director of Operations & Brewmaster

Ryan has over a decade of brewing experience and has been with Strike since the beginning. He’s created over a hundred unique recipes in his tenure here and garnered awards from the world’s most prestigious competitions. He loves exploring traditional styles and working with local ingredients whenever possible. His favorite style is English Barleywine and can’t get enough of our DH aged in Four Roses Bourbon Barrels.

Robert Wells

National Sales Manager

Robert has over 30 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations, with substantial expertise in building territories to full capacity. Robert is passionate about the people who craft delicious beers, the ceaseless attention to quality, and the immense potential for growth in an industry he loves.

Karissa Jordan

Taproom Manager

Karissa is our Taproom Manager and Beertender. She has been with Strike since 2019. We are fortunate to have a long-tenured customer service enthusiast on our bar management team. She’s our go-to gal for keeping things running smoothly in the taproom, but also helps manage our social media pages, organizes our food vendor program and coordinates special events. Josh Nolan

Graphic Designer and Production Lead

Josh is a Bay Area based Digital Media artist & graphic designer and brings his talents to Strike by designing labels, merchandise, web design and loads of other projects. When he isn’t creating, he works in the cellar and on oversees the packaging and production line. He’s also a longtime boy’s volleyball coach and national champion with Bay to Bay Volleyball Club. Josh’s favorite Strike beer is our German-style festbier, Hunt for Oktoberfest.

Dave Drury

Production & Cellar Assistant

Dave recently moved to the Bay Area after growing up and living in Chicagoland his whole life. He’s an avid college football fan (Go NIU Huskies!) and loves to travel. He’s had a beer in 48 of the 50 states and hopes to get to the final two states – Alaska and Hawaii – very soon. His favorite Strike beer is our Two Seam IPA. If you see him around the brewery, say hi!

Tommy Ha

Packaging Lead

Tommy has been with us since 2017 and has grown into his role as our canning line operator and packaging expert. Outside the brewery you can find him running trails in the Marin Headlands, preparing for his next ultra-marathon. Last year he completed a 100km race in Chamonix, France. His favorite Strike beers are our light lagers, particularly our Rice Lager, Clean Hit.
